Chromperfect users often ask our support team how to access the Chromperfect manuals. For many years we have not shipped printed manuals with our chromatography data system. Instead, all customers receive a full digital library of Chromperfect manuals installed with their software.
Chromperfect Directories
After installation, two main directories are created on the C: drive:
Chromperfect Program Directory – contains essential system files.
CP Data Directory – includes example files, reports, and commonly where users store their own data.
Inside the CP Data folder, you will find a subfolder called Manuals.
What’s Included in the Chromperfect Manuals?
The manuals folder contains a complete set of documents in PDF format:
Installation Manual – explains different system configurations and how to install them.
Main Manual – covers every topic for operating Chromperfect, plus a chapter on the theory of chromatography.
Workbook – a practical guide for new users to set up acquisition, analysis, and reporting workflows.
Addendums and Articles – additional resources and technical notes.
Since they are provided as PDFs, you will need a PDF reader. The benefit of digital manuals is that they are searchable — use the clickable table of contents or keyword search to jump straight to the information you need.
Chromperfect on YouTube
In addition to the manuals, our YouTube channel offers a growing library of video tutorials. Many chapters from the main manual are now available in video format, including the full Theory of Chromatography series, split into five chapters.
