When working with multiple chromatograms, it’s often useful to arrange them in a specific order for easier comparison. Chromperfect’s Analysis Program makes this simple with built-in tools for reordering plots.
Overlaid Chromatograms: Change Chromatogram Plot Order
By default, chromatograms are overlaid in the order in which their raw or bound files were opened. While this is fine in many cases, sometimes it’s important to control the sequence.
Change Chromatogram Plot Order
To adjust the order:
Go to the Compare menu.
Select Change Plot Order.
A form will appear listing each open chromatogram.
Select a row and use Move Up or Move Down to rearrange.
Press OK to confirm changes.
The new order will apply the next time you switch from tiled to overlaid view.
Viewing Options
Use the Window menu to choose how your chromatograms are displayed:
Tile Horizontally
Tile Vertically
Cascade
These options help you compare and analyze data in the arrangement that works best for your workflow.
Conclusion
Changing the order of plots in Chromperfect is a quick way to customize how your chromatograms are displayed. Whether you prefer tiled or overlaid views, these options make it easier to compare runs and highlight key differences in your data.
