Intro - Chromperfect operator field

In Chromperfect Version 6 and newer, the Operator field in the download form is hidden by default. If you want this field to always be displayed — for better traceability, compliance, or workflow clarity — here’s how to enable Chromperfect operator field.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open the System Menu

From the main menu or Start Bar:

• Click System

• Then select the System menu option from the dropdown

  
  

2. Access the MK Menu

• Click MK Menu

  
  

3. Enable Operator Sharing

• Check the box Share Acquisition Client Among Multiple Operators

4. Optional – Add Suggested Operator Names

• Click the Optional Operator Names button

• Enter a list of suggested operators

• Save changes

5. Restart ChromperfectYour changes will take effect after restarting the software.

How It Works

• If unchecked: The operator field contains the logged-in user’s name only and does not appear at download time.

• If checked: The operator field appears as a combo box in the download form. Users can select from suggested names (if provided) or enter a name manually.
