If you’ve ever tried to add a new instrument in Chromperfect and seen the red message: Maximum number of instruments reached

— don’t panic. This isn’t an error message. It’s simply a notification telling you that you’ve reached the limit of your current license.
What the Maximum number of instruments reached Message Really Means
Each Chromperfect license allows a fixed number of instruments to be connected. For example:
With a 2-instrument license:
Adding the first instrument: no message appears.
Adding the second instrument: the message appears.
Even though the message is shown, you can still add the instrument. The notification is just confirming that you’ve now reached your license capacity.
Common Misunderstanding
Some users assume the message means they cannot add the final instrument. That’s not the case. The system allows you to add up to your licensed limit — it just won’t let you go beyond it.
What To Do Next
If you are still within your license (e.g., adding instrument 2 of 2), you can safely continue.
If you need to connect more instruments than your license allows, you’ll need to expand your license. Contact our team for an upgrade quote.
Clear Support, Fast Solutions
This message is a good reminder to keep track of how many instruments are connected under your license. Chromperfect is designed to provide clear, reliable feedback so you always know when you’re at capacity.
